Another tip when scout­ing a track is to find a van­tage point that gives you two, or even three, bites of the cherry – one that makes it pos­si­ble to take a front-on shot, a pan­ning shot, and then a rear shot. It’s also a good idea to use track fur­ni­ture to pro­vide con­text, and to keep an eye out for colour and pat­tern, as in this shot of a trio of cars in ap­par­ently per­fect for­ma­tion.
