Golden rules of montageS

NPhoto - - Nikon Skills -

There are three rules for making a convincing montage. First, you need two images that have similar lighting so that they match up when merged. Second, the perspective needs to stay consistent, so think about the angle of view for each image and try to match the images up. Third, the seams need to be undetectable. This is where your Photoshop masking skills come into play. Use selection tools to isolate areas then add layer masks for precise control over what’s revealed or hidden on each layer (see step 03 and 05).
