Photo scavenger hunt
Spice up your photography by injecting your weekend with new challenges
Scavenger hunts are a great way of developing your photographic skills. The restrictions they place on you, in terms of time, technique and subject matter, force you to think creatively, and improve your camera dexterity too. We opted to take a grand tour of the Costwolds, a beautiful region that has a diverse range of subjects to photograph. We made a list of shooting challenges, then selected them at random as we drove. The time limit we set ourselves was two days – a scavenger hunt is a great excuse to spend a weekend away with your Nikon – and we ended up burning through 300 miles in our pursuit of pictures. Over the next few pages you can see our results, and on p28 you’ll find cut-out-and-keep cards that you can use to kick off your own scavenger hunt!
