Consider fill-light

When arriving at a circuit, you have to be aware of the time of year and the available light. When shooting jumps, the sun could be high up above during the day in the summer, but lower in winter. This is really important to consider when putting lights up and using fill-flash. I placed some Elinchrom heads high up on light stands next to the track (with prior permission to do this). I wouldn’t normally do this on a race day, but at a track day it’s entirely possible, and I’ve done it many times.
