Hoarfrost at Herringfleet Mill
James Bailey, Suffolk, England
Due to a forecast of freezing fog, we left at 4.30am to get to Herringfleet for dawn. There were memorable images everywhere, but this picture immediately leapt out – I particularly enjoyed the covering of frost on the grass and the bridge. The hoarfrost helps to accentuate the dilapidated nature of the windmill and structures surrounding it.
