Af­ter a few hours of shoot­ing with the be­lay and mono­pod set-up you might show signs of fa­tigue, but if you ad­just the belt cor­rectly all of the weight should be in your hips and you’ll have no back pain. “The length of the mono­pod makes a big dif­fer­ence,” says Gary. “Tony had a three-sec­tion mono­pod and on the whole they’re longer (when fully com­pressed) than most four-sec­tion monopods. This meant Tony had to strain to reach up to the cam­era.”
