HOT SHOT #2

Our Apprentice says… This bedroom shot took a lot of prep work. When I first went in I thought ‘Brilliant, it’s ready to shoot’, but Pete pointed out that there were rolled up towels on the bed and cables running along the floor. I hadn’t considered that I needed to tidy these bits up. After hiding the cables and moving the towels away, it was time to frame up. But even then there were small details I wasn’t aware of. Just when I was about to press the shutter release, Pete walked into shot and across the room to open the door leading to the ensuite. He explained that it’s often good to keep doors open to give a sense of flow to a room.
