I’d like a pro-style body with vertical grip, but the most affordable options have a low megapixel count or they’re not full-frame. Can you suggest something?

Jason says… The choices are quite limited. The D1 and D2 were DX-format rather than full-frame cameras. The D4 is comparatively new and an expensive secondhand buy, starting at around £2000/$2500, while the megapixel count of the D3 or D3s (around £800/$1000) is a lowly 12Mp. We’d go for the D3x, which ups resolution to 24.5Mp.
