Jack says… Most of the time the course at CIWW runs at eight cu­bic me­tres per sec­ond (cumecs), which cov­ers all but the high­est blocks that form the waves. How­ever, if you wait for the higher runs at 10 cumecs (on cer­tain days) you can get even more dra­matic images, with the blocks com­pletely sub­merged. It’s harder to get a good shot though, be­cause the amount of wa­ter splash­ing around is even greater.
