Back to school
I would like to take a few lines to praise Nikon School, not just for the wide range of courses and seminars they offer, but for the professional way they go about it.
I recently attended a Low Light London session; not only did it pour down all evening but the temperature dropped to zero, while the facilitator battled on regardless. Now, the weather is what it is and Nikon School, of course, aren’t responsible. So imagine my surprise when I received an email offering me a place on a future session at no cost. They didn’t have to do that, and the subsequent session was excellent.
Separately, I booked myself on a Coffee and Cakes morning with wildlife photographer David Yarrow. A week before the due date I discovered I would need to be in hospital. The staff at Nikon School immediately offered me a refund or a place on a future session, which I accepted. But that’s not all! When I finished my stay in hospital I found a copy of David Yarrow’s coffee table book of some of his best work waiting for me. It is so large it must have cost nearly as much as I paid for the session to post it to me! They always go the extra mile.
Attached is an image from the latest course I attended with Nikon School [see below]. I hope you like it, and if other readers want a really good day out with like-minded photographers in an informative and enjoyable setting, then give Nikon School a try. Tony Baker, via email We work with Nikon School a lot and know just how dedicated they are. It’s great to hear you’ve had such a lovely experience, despite the setbacks.
