On location / Get set up for reflected glory

1 Mirror A circular mirror is the foundation of this technique. We simply photograph it in various positions throughout the frame, then combine all the shots later. 2 Subject We dug a little hole, filled our container with water and placed our subject, then took several frames while shifting the mirror around in front of him. 3 Tripod We ended up with nearly 150 photos for our composite here – each one taken in perfect alignment, thanks to our trusty Benro tripod. 4 Skies The lighting needs to stay consistent throughout. Watch for the sun dipping in and out of clouds. On occasion here we needed to pause for it to go in.
