Often with composite images there are two key factors that go into making it look natural. Firstly, we need to ensure the masking and blending is precise so that there are no obvious ‘seams’ to our composite. Secondly, we must try to make the colours and tones in each element match up as best we can. One way to help separate photos gel together is to add a tonal shift on top of everything after the images have been combined.
