Action shot Slow down to capture the speed

-

1 Shoot continuously Don’t miss shots because you can’t press the shutter release quickly enough. Set your Nikon to take photos at the maximum number of frames per second by engaging Continuous burst mode. If you Nikon has two options, opt for Continuous High (CH). 2 Vibration Reduction Some automotive photographers turn VR off to stop the camera trying to compensate for the panning motion, but for beginners it can really help stabilize the scene. Some lenses have a dedicated panning mode that only stabilizes in one direction of movement. 3 Continually focus To track the focus of a moving car, turn the AF mode to Continuous by holding down the AF button and turning the Command dial until you reach AF-C. As you half-press the shutter release button the camera continuously refocuses on the subject.
