STEEL car bodies can shave 85kg off the weight thanks to a new steel from the world’s largest steel maker, ArcelorMital. It says using nanotechnology, it can now offer a steel car that weighs the same as one made of aluminum cars— but at a much cheaper price. ArcelorMital says it is up to three years away from reality but already Ford says it is extremely interested.
