Friendly to the fairer folk
WYN Holden is the first motor vehicle dealership in the NT to earn Female Friendly accreditation.
It is also the first business of any kind in Katherine to achieve this status.
The Female Friendly accreditation rewards businesses that have a particular emphasis to helping women and practise high standards of customer service.
Female Friendly, an online directory of businesses used and recommended by women, awards its Pink Tick and Silver Shield only once a business has been shown to practice good, ethical, honest trade and take special care and consideration of customers.
A key part of this accreditation is letters of reference from customers.
‘‘It’s a great feeling for a business to achieve Female Friendly accreditation because it’s not something you can just buy, you need to earn it,’’ Female Friendly Accreditation manager LeeAnne Clark said.
‘‘Every business on our directory has been discovered by Female Friendly listening to the voices of the community. It’s the sisters, wives, mothers and girlfriends’ word-of-mouth, and now it’s online.’’
At www.femalefriendly. com.au there are mechanics, car dealerships, insurance brokers and many other industries that have been accredited.
Ms Clark said Female Friendly felt confident in directing women to Wyn Holden for service and advice, saying: ‘‘Wyn Holden passed with flying colours – an outstanding 100 per cent rating and accreditation completed in record time.’’
Wyn Holden dealer principal Michelle Buzza is thrilled to have been given Female Friendly accreditation
