Lambs crammed into cars
SIXTEEN lambs have been found crammed into two cars stopped by police on England’s M5. A police spokesman said eight lambs were in the boot of one car with another three on the back seat. In the second vehicle, four lambs were in the boot and one in the footwell. ‘‘The lambs were found to be tightly bound and were obviously distressed,’’ he said. Police have charged six men and reunited the lambs with their owner, a farmer from Gloucestershire.
