FACEBOOK and Twitter are being used to urge women in Saudi Arabia to drive. Women aren’t allowed to travel there without a man’s permission, but some Saudi women are urging those who have an international driver’s licence to get behind the wheel from June 17. Saudi Prince Alwaleed bin Talal has spoken out against the ban on women drivers, saying they need more drivers so they can send home the 750,000 non-Saudis now employed as drivers.
