Top of the class versatility

THE name says it all — Quintrex Top Enders are designed for tropical northern Australia.

This iconic range of boats has developed since the mid-90s and has become a household name in the NT.

The 470 Top Ender, featured, suits anglers who want access to smaller creeks and restricted tidal areas while still being able to offer a great ride out in the harbour and further offshore.

Quintrex’s exclusive Millennium flared hull is the key to this range’s great success. The concave shape of the flared hull cuts through the water with ease while deflecting and turning away any spray that one would normally expect from a harder riding rounded bottom hull shape.

Powered by a Yamaha F60 EFI Four Stroke motor, this package combines smooth quietness with economical performance to make trolling for barramundi from dawn until dusk an absolute pleasure.

The side console configuration of the Top Ender allows anglers a large open cockpit for fishing and family boating. There is room for overnighters, wanting to linger in a favourite fishing spot, to roll out swags.

The Quintrex team boasts it has continued to listen to their customers and in response to feedback has revamped the 2011/12 Top Enders to include: Larger side pocket storage; More open under-floor storage including in the raised casting platform;

A newly designed sports side console allowing large esky storage; and Anew model transom live bait tank. The Top Enders also come fitted to a custom alloy trailer designed and manufactured by Quintrex. These have a V loader system for ease of launch and retrieval. They should outlast a conventional galvanised steel trailer.

Access to tidal areas and small creeks is possible with the 470 Top Ender
