Long lunch with laughs

Aboriginal Broadcasting Australia chief executive Dr Donna Odegaard, Menzies School of Health Associate Professor Heidi Smith-Vaughan and comedian, speaker and writer Mary Coustas — who may be better known as the comedic character Effie — will entertain the crowd.
Over the last two lunches more than $150,000 was raised, and organisers hope to continue the fundraising ef- forts. HealthLAB has a focus on youth and indigenous communities, with the aim to educate people about positive lifestyle choices and taking ownership of their health.
