It will be the first time the two sides have met since last year’s A-grade grand final, which Pints claimed by one goal in the final seconds.
Both teams have started the revamped premier league — which includes nine A-reserve sides — undefeated.
Such is the strength of the two outfits that Thursday’s clash should determine the minor premiership.
It is the only regular season fixture between the two teams.
Tracy Village’s Stefanie Greve said her side had been waiting all season to get one back on their rivals.
“In all our training sessions and all our games we have been working towards the game. We’re trying our hardest to get up there. It will be a good fight — we’re looking forward to it,” she said.
“That’s (grand final defeat) in the back of all of our minds. Hopefully that will bring us out bigger and stronger and make sure that we play right down to the last second as hard as we can.”
Greve said Falcons had continued to play with intensity, despite not being challenged in the majority of their contests. They defeated Nightcliff Tigers Black by 49 goals on Thursday.
“We’ve been working hard all season to try and lift our game and keep our standard up given that they have combined the competitions into the premier league,” she said.
