TAYLOR Swift has announced her first tour dates off the back of her new album Reputation and, while Australia isn’t currently included on the list, there’s one big clue pointing to the star’s arrival Down Under.

Swift has announced a run of 27 stadium dates across North America beginning in May and ending in October, but Australian fans can currently register their interest in an Australian tour on ticket seller Ticketek’s website.

The star is expected to reveal Australian dates in a later tour announcement, including dates outside of North America.

It’s been two years since Swift was last Down Under, selling out stadiums across the country for her 1989 tour.

With the release of her sixth album, Reputation, the singer is back in the charts with lead single Look What You Made Me Do hitting the top spot across the world, including in Australia.

The album, which dropped on Friday, is already approaching 1 million sales in the US alone.

Swift famously removed her back catalogue from streaming services for paying low royalties to artists, only reinstating it on platforms earlier this year.
