NT U19s off to Tasmania
A SQUAD has been announced to represent the Northern Territory in the Cricket Australia Under-19 (male) National Championships next month.
Tasmania will play host to the most talented under age cricketers from eight States and Territories, with day-night matches being introduced for the first time.
NT Cricket senior manager of pathways, Mark Sorell, sees the team as a strong contender in this year’s competition.
“We have a well-balanced side with a real versatility in the players selected,” he said.
“We have included dynamic NT players from both Darwin and Alice Springs and have a good mix of bowling options including spin and pace variations.
“Our batting side is a positive mix and some of our players have experience from previous Championships.”
