Celebrities were out in force for the wedding of Princess Eugenie yesterday
HOLLYWOOD royalty joined English royalty to celebrate the wedding of Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank yesterday, with hundreds of star-studded guests filling St George’s Chapel in Windsor.
Guests battled with strong winds as they started arriving 2½ hours before the service, with many having to hold on to their hats and tame their hair and outfits.
Prince Harry and Meghan did not walk through the crowd when they arrived and were quickly ushered into the castle, so as to not draw attention to themselves.
Meghan chose a chic navy coat and dress by Givenchy, the designer of her wedding dress, and hat by Noel Stewart, while Harry wore a classic suit.
Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge, wore a raspberry Alexander McQueen dress and a hat by Philip Treacy, with Prince William also sporting a dark suit.
The Queen wore an ice blue cashmere coat with large gold and diamond buttons and a matching peach scalloped dress by one of her favourite designers, Angela Kelly.
Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, wore a classic black suit.
Maid of Honour and sister Princess Beatrice arrived in a royal blue dress by Ralph and Russo and purple headband by Sarah Cant, with mother Sarah Ferguson in the same car.
Hollywood heartthrob George Clooney was expected, as he was a part-owner of the Casamigos Tequila for which Jack is an ambassador. However neither he nor wife Amal attended. Amal was instead scheduled to speak at a conference in the US.
Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, snubbed the wedding for prior commitments in Scotland, reigniting rumours her rift with Prince Andrew has not simmered down.
However, her husband Prince Charles arrived in a signature grey suit.
English model Pixie Geldof arrived early with drummer George Barnett.
Prince Harry’s former girlfriend Chelsy Davy wore a navy lace dress and matching fascinator – the same colour she wore to Prince Harry and Meghan’s wedding in May.
Lady Melissa Percy arrived with Ms Davy, in a baby blue jumpsuit, matching hat and furry clutch.
Autumnal colours appeared to be a favourite among guests, with American actress Demi Moore opting for a maroon dress.
Actress Liv Tyler chose a structured navy blazer and matching skirt ensemble.
Supermodel Naomi Campbell looked unsurprisingly dramatic in a feathered black and white tweed dress and matching jacket look by Ralph and Russo.
She paired this with black leather gloves and a large fascinator despite the gusty winds.
Robbie Williams arrived holding hands with his wife Ayda and mother Janet William in a three-piece suit including a black jacket, grey vest, silver tie and white shirt.
Ayda wore a metallic champagne dress with matching jacket and fascinator while Gwen’s blue hat, which matched her dress, blew off in the wind.
Property developer Nick Candy and wife Holly Candy, the singer formerly known as Holly Valance, were among celebrity guests.
Former footballer Jamie Redknapp was dressed in a morning suit as was singersongwriter James Blunt.
Supermodel Kate Moss sported a white navy polka dot ensemble and navy fascinator while model Cara Delevingne wore a pedal pusher trouser suit and a top hat.
Comic and actor Stephen Fry chose a brightly coloured waistcoat with his morning suit.
