IT is no sur­prise dishes that can be made in 15-30 min­utes are the hottest ticket on the Heart Foun­da­tion’s recipes web­site.

Over my time as a nu­tri­tion man­ager, the con­stant re­quest has been for sim­ple, tasty food that’s also good for you. Peo­ple also want recipes with in­gre­di­ents that are easy to find and won’t break the bud­get.

Re­al­ity tele­vi­sion shows of­ten have recipes and chal­lenges which are en­ter­tain­ing but un­re­al­is­tic for peo­ple cooking for a fam­ily with a lim­ited amount of time.

The good news is the Heart Foun­da­tion has re­leased a new col­lec­tion of ‘Sim­ple and Af­ford­able’ heart healthy recipes for peo­ple short on time and watch­ing their bud­get. All recipes on the web­site are tasty, have ac­ces­si­ble in­gre­di­ents and are heart healthy.

These recipes also work for any size group, no mat­ter whether you are cooking for one, two or a tribe.

We un­der­stand peo­ple are busy so the more we can do to help you cre­ate a sim­ple, healthy meal in a short amount of time the more likely you will be to use it.
