Royal rip- off! HARRY & MEGHAN: THE TV SHOW!
Off with his head! The princess-to-be’s ex is stealing her story for a series
Finally! After 14 months of dating, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry put us all out of our misery by making their official debut as a couple at the Invictus Games in Toronto on September 25.
After sitting in the same box while watching a wheelchair tennis game together, the smiley pair – who’ve been dodging engagement buzz for months – were then spotted packing on the PDA for the cameras as they strolled hand-in-hand. Harry, 33, even snuck in a kiss on the Suits star’s head. So cute – and onlookers thought so, too.
“[They] seemed at home with each other,” Kylie Lawyer – whose husband played in the match – told People magazine.
But the royal couple’s love bubble could soon be burst, as Meg’s ex-husband Trevor Engelson is using her life story for a new TV show.
The producer – who was married to Meg for two years before they split in 2013 – is reportedly working on a comedy pilot for US network FOX about a woman who leaves her husband for a royal. Awks!
“Divorce is hard. Sharing custody is harder. Sharing custody with the British royal family when your wife marries a prince, in the unforgiving spotlight of London’s tabloid media, is next level,” reads the show’s premise. Yikes!
According to reports, Trevor, 40, came up with the idea with another producer while they were joking about how complicated it would be if he and Megan, 36, had kids and he had to be connected to the royals for life.
Hmm, we doubt the Windsors are laughing... or that they’ll be tuning in!
