Becks iss having a mid-life crisis

The star’s reliving his youth – and riling Posh up in the process

NW - - Hot Shots -

Kicking back with the boys, sinking some beers, doing burnouts on his bike and strolling around with a cap, backpack and headphones, a long-haired David Beckham’s living that young lad life – at the tender age of 42! But we hear his baller behaviour’s bugging his wife Victoria so much, she’s convinced he’s having a mid-life crisis! “Vic is totally miffed by the way David’s been acting. It’s like he’s had a personality transplant!” a family friend tells NW. “He’s been total Father of the Year material ever since the kids were babies. But now that Harper is at school, and she and her brothers need him less and less, he’s had this taste of freedom – and he’s totally running with it.”

According to pals, Becks feels he’s been there, done that with the whole Daddy day care biz, having spent the past few years since his retirement from pro soccer running around after their boys Brooklyn, 18, Romeo, 15, and Cruz, 12, while Posh built her fashion empire. Now, he reckons it’s his time to chill with his mates.

However, Posh thinks David’s endless vacay – which includes partying with girls half his age and topping up his tattoo collection – is “quite embarrassing”.

“David prefers hanging out with Brooklyn more than Victoria. Instead, she’s left at home running the household,” adds NW’S spy.

“She’s telling her friends that it feels like she’s raising five kids, rather than four.”

But Posh, 43 – and some of Becks’ more mature buddies – reckon he’s playing up because he isn’t playing anymore.

“I miss soccer every day,” the star has admitted. “It was always going to be difficult, no matter what I’d set up, no matter how many children I have got to take my mind off things.”

So he’s coping the only way he knows how.

“He’s trying to replace the camaraderie of his teammates, but partying is no way to do it,”

a source confirms to US OK! mag. “David needs to let off steam sometimes. He doesn’t like to be caged in.”

And while sources say Vic’s really starting to worry about him, Becks has admitted that, until now, his wife-of-18-years hasn’t exactly put her foot down when it comes to his wild ways.

“Think Victoria’s given up on telling me to stop now. She used to. She used to say, ‘Do you have to?’ But she knows it makes me happy,” David’s said of his ever-growing ink collection.

But pals fear his recent ent string of immaturity may just push her over the edge! e

“After raising three sons ons and a daughter, Posh is s a very tolerant woman. Plus, she always promised herself lf she h would never have harsh words with her husband in front of the children,” says NW’S insider. “But if David keeps up this childish behaviour, she’ll totally lose her cool, no matter who’s around. He won’t know what hit him.”

Watch out, Becks!

PARENT TRAPPED Becks seems to have put child-minding on the backburner in favour of partying with college student son Brooklyn and best mate Dave Gardner – meaning Posh is largely raising Harper, six, as well as Cruz and Romeo, solo.

‘I love going to pubs,’ says Becks. Cheers! ‘It’s really a passion of mine,’ Becks says of his bikes Becks certainly looks younger than his age, but there’s concern he’s starting to act too young for it, too...
