Bow Wow Brown­ies and Ice Cream

Cook­ing time: 30 mins Serves: 6 In­gre­di­ents • 90g all-pur­pose flour • ¼ tsp bak­ing soda • ½ tsp salt • 100g gran­u­lated sugar • 3 tbsp un­salted but­ter • 2 tbsp whole milk • 450g milk choco­late morsels • 2 large eggs • ½ tsp pure vanilla ex­tract • Vanilla ice cream, for serv­ing • Choco­late sauce, for serv­ing Method 1. Pre­heat the oven to 165°C, with a rack in the mid­dle po­si­tion. But­ter a 20-by-20-cm square bak­ing pan and set aside. 2. In a small bowl, whisk bak­ing the flour, soda and salt. Set aside. 3. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, com­bine but­ter the sugar, and milk. Bring to a boil. Re­move the pan from the heat and add 270g of the choco­late ate morsels. Stir un­til the choco­late olate is melted and smooth. 4. Add the eggs and vanilla to the choco­late. Stir un­til and blended nded smooth. 5. Grad­u­ally add the flour mix­ture to the choco­late, stir­ring com­bined. un­til til just Spread the bat­ter er evenly into the pre­pared pan. n. Sprin­kle the top of the bat­ter er with the re­main­ing 180g of choco­late morsels. 6. Place the pan in the oven and bake for 25 to 30 min­utes, the ro­tat­ing otat­ing pan about half­way the through ugh bak­ing time to en­sure even ven cook­ing, un­til the brown­ies set and are the edges look baked. 7. Re­move d. the brown­ies from m oven and the place on a wire rack k cool in the to pan. 8. Cut the brown­ies into 6 large rge squares. Serve topped with vanilla ice cream and choco­late ate sauce, if de­sired.
