Mark Barton ‘L72’ 1966 Chev Biscayne
When they rolled off the production line back in the 1960s, two-door post cars were the lowest specced with the biggest motors, and with that came huge attraction for drag fans. On this side of the globe, post cars were almost forgotten until one showed just how cool these lightweight low-spec monsters could be. Mark Barton’s Chev Biscayne created a stir as soon as it arrived, with people suddenly wanting one themselves. Loving the look himself, Mark very soon added a couple more to his collection, making it the biggest, or only, collection of post cars in the country. Others are now starting to follow suit.
