New Zealand has an affinity with tough streeters — that’s why magazines like this exist, after all — and NZV8 Issue No. 30 seemed to be a haven for them! The mag featured not only Jarrod Mahon’s 406-powered Monaro on the cover but also showcased Gary Bogaart’s XB Falcon (right) in its blown Cleveland guise — years before it became an eight-second, nitrous-snorting streeter — Rick Waters’ stunning supercharged ’67 Mustang, and Shane Neighbour’s supertough 468ci big block Camaro.
