FIRE AND BRIMSTONE

-

All good things, as they say, must come to an end. Sadly, that also applies to the Dodge Challenger SRT Demon — perhaps the most anticipated muscle car produced, and one revered by petrolheads the world over. We remember the hype leading up to the vehicle’s launch, and now it’s over, with the last Dodge Challenger SRT Demon having rolled off the production line in Ontario, Canada, and set to be auctioned for charity alongside the last Dodge Viper produced. The Dodge Challenger SRT Demon somehow delivered on the promise of a vehicle even crazier than the existing Hellcat models, which already packed a 707hp punch via their supercharged 6.2-litre Hemi motors. The last Demon will be sent to the Mohegan Sun resort in Connecticut, where it will be auctioned at the Barrett-Jackson Northeast Auction over 20–23 June — just before you get to read this. We expect that a package deal such as that up for grabs will command a suitably insane price tag.
