T heir whirlwind visit to Spain on September 29 for the screening of Chris Hemsworth’s new film Bad Times at the El Royale at the 2018 San Sebastián Film Festival reminded us all why he and Elsa Pataky are #relationshipgoals. They also happen to have two of the hottest bodies

in the biz – and finding ways to stay fit together brings the pair even closer.

But while Chris, 35, is known for his buff body, he thinks his wife is in better shape! ‘She has a greater cardio skill set, endurance than I’ll ever have, and it’s a little embarrassing at times,’ Chris admits. The mum-of-three likes variety in her regimen, so she does 40-minute gym circuits four times a week, plus yoga, spin, swimming, Pilates and kickboxing.

‘He helps train me,’ says the 42-year-old, who – at 161cm tall – has to ‘punch up’ to her 190cm tall hubby in the ring. And the 12 Strong star admits he can only do four or five rounds. ‘She’s relentless, she doesn’t quit,’ Chris spills.

But it’s not just exercise that gives Mr and Mrs Hemsworth their incredible physiques. They also carefully watch what they eat and follow a Mediterranean-style diet, while avoiding processed foods. ‘I avoid taking refined sugars, but I don’t deprive myself,’ Elsa explains.

Chris Hemsworth and Elsa Pataky love to live the luxe life! Having already thrown more than $8 million behind the reno of their Byron Bay retreat, the pair’s mega mansion – which has been on the go since late 2017 – is set to house all the mod cons a celeb bushland retreat could need at their favourite place on earth.

‘Here, we just walk out the door and head to the beach,’ says Chris, 35, who loves the ‘much more simple life’ on Australia’s east coast with his wife, 42, and their kids India, six, and twins Sasha and Tristan, four. ‘I feel like it’s a paradise,’ adds Elsa.
