women of the future 2018
With guests including former Foreign Affairs Minister Julie Bishop, patron Dame Quentin Bryce and influential women from the media, politics, business and charity, The Australian Women’s Weekly AGL Women of the Future winner’s lunch at Quay restaurant in Sydney was to be the most talked about event of the year. Celebrating three exceptional young women who received more than $70,000 each in cash and prizes, thanks to AGL, to further their projects, the event featured a lively panel discussion on gender, female futures and politics. Julie Bishop’s keynote address on sexism and bullying in politics was a highlight, and widely reported on for days after.
