Spanner men slog it out
In Iwata, Japan, the seventh running of the Yamaha World Technician GP took place in November, with Roly Orr from Wilder Motorcycles in Young, NSW representing Australia. The event is an industry-leading initiative that recognizes excellence in the motorcycle service industry, helping to incentivize, develop and retrain extremely skilled technicians within the Yamaha network. Despite missing out on a podium position, Roly impressed everyone with his friendly demeanour and enthusiasm and described the event as “An unbelievable experience…It made me proud to be able to represent Australia and I am so glad that I took the opportunity.”
