BIG4 Holiday Parks has recently welcomed four new parks to the BIG4 family - Byron Holiday Park (NSW), BIG4 Albury Tourist Park (NSW), BIG4 Mackay Blacks Beach Holiday Park (QLD), and Rivershore Resort (QLD), a brand new site that will be open from August 2016 – and each new park has its own distinct vibe! Adjacent to Arakwal National Park,

spans 11ha, and is just five minutes from the heart of Byron Bay.

Park manager Gerald Searle says the region offers a terrific beachside and nature experience for families.

“Byron Holiday Park has direct access to beautiful Tallow Beach via our beach track, and our facilities compliment what’s available in and around Byron Bay.

“We have onsite bike hire to enable our guests to enjoy easy access into Byron and 15km of cycle ways surrounding the park. Our guests can also enjoy our modern, wellequipped, all-weather camp kitchen and our saltwater swimming pool. We even have a chook house where kids can collect the eggs and learn about where their food comes from.”

The conveniently located the closest tourist park to Albury’s CBD, situated on the NSW side of the magnificent Murray River, and joined the BIG4 family in June. A major shopping centre and a variety of food outlets are all within easy walking distance and, inside the Park, you’ll find a pool, bbq area, a range of cabin types, and powered caravan sites.

“We have beautiful parklands hugging the riverbanks, which make great places for picnics, swimming and canoeing, as well as cycling trails along the banks,” says Park manager Craig Richardson. Joining BIG4 in early May, Queensland’s

is perfectly positioned on absolute beachfront, overlooking the southern islands of the Whitsundays. The Park’s hosts, Michelle and John Young, welcome guests to the new villa-style one and twobedroom accommodation, as well as 87 caravan sites across 2ha of beachfront.

“We’re a little oasis, with just the right balance of shady surrounds at the park and sun at the beach. Our guests love to try beach fishing, taking a stroll on the untouched sands of Black Beach, or generally relaxing and unwinding,” says John.

The park’s modern facilities include a splash pad water play area and full in-ground swimming pool as well as a new amenities block.

Due to open in August 2016, the spectacular will be southeast Queensland’s newest BIG4, featuring 70 spacious camping/ caravan sites and 15 luxury safari tents, and a fully licensed restaurant and bar on the Maroochy River front.

Rivershore Resort is the first new caravanning resort in the region since the late 1970s and offers glamping, camping and caravanning options.
