Whistler’s 3 and 5-day Adventure Camps for kids aged 3 to 6 years provide a fantastic group lesson environment that’s jam-packed with fun events, themes and activities. Children progress quickly and confidently with the same instructor for the duration.
Snowplay activities for children and families are plentiful, including winter ziplining, tubing, snowshoeing, snow mobile rides, dogsledding and sleigh rides. There’s also free outdoor ice skating and, the must-see views from the incredible Peak 2 Peak Gondola ride.
Head to Whistler Olympic Plaza Snow Zone, a dedicated snowplay zone for kids tucked among coffeehouses, restaurants and shops, that has a stockpile of the best ingredient ever – snow! Whistler Olympic Plaza is also the venue for Family Après, an event featuring free kid-friendly activities and entertainment held on select evenings through winter. Surrounded by the sparkling holiday lights and close to the outdoor ice skating rink, Family Après is all about experiencing winter outdoor fun with your kids, the Canadian way. The entertainment and family activities change from week to week, from snowman building competitions and tobogganing to storytelling, roving characters, music, snacks and hot beverages.
