Sporting action aplenty across resorts
IF you like snow sports and racing action, the local
At Falls Creek, you can watch the action of the Wombats Rambler Night Race on Saturday, July 29, as well as the Australian Police Winter Games on Monday, July 31.
The games has been an annual event since 1983 and is among the longest continual police winter sports competitions in the world today.
Meanwhile, over at Mt Hotham, this Saturday will see the Anton Huette Club Race and the SSA SBX Futures Camp will also be held across the weekend.
On Sunday, Mt Hotham will also host a session of the Hotham Junior Free Ride Series – Rider X.
Thursday, July 27 sees the Victorian University Ski and Snowboard Championships at Mt Buller, as well as the weekly Petit Miam Kids’ Race.
Snow continues to fall at Mt Buffalo, with toboggan slopes looking especially good.
Facilities on the mountain include a café and day shelter at Dingo Dell.
