Dads on a roll at school break­fast

BEECHWORTH Pri­mary School was the per­fect set­ting for chil­dren, par­ents and teach­ers to cel­e­brate Fa­ther’s Day early – on Fri­day.

Year six teacher Kate Tag, who or­gan­ised the “happy event”, said there had been more than 300 tak­ers for break­fast.

“Every­one pitches in to help cre­ate a re­laxed and friendly fam­ily morn­ing which high­lights the spe­cial role that dads and male role mod­els have for the chil­dren,” she said.

“The happy faces on the chil­dren and par­ents say it all.”

HELP­ING IN THE KITCHEN: More than 300 egg and ba­con rolls were be­ing made by Brian McKay, Jamie Schofield and Kayla Col­lier.
