The 2017 Grammy Awards, held on February 12 in Los Angeles, is generally a bone of contention as to who won what, and why. This 21-track CD offers listeners a sample of who’s in the running for many of the awards. Four out of the five Album of the Year finalists are here, notably Adele, Justin Bieber, impressive singer-songwriter Sturgill Simpson and Beyoncé, who teams up with Jack White for the funky ‘Don’t Hurt Yourself’. Aussie songstress Sia is up for a few awards, including the Best Pop Duo/ Group Performance for her collaboration with Sean Paul on ‘Cheap Thrills’, which is included here. Keith Urban is represented with ‘Blue Ain’t Your Colour’, that song up for a Best Country Solo Performance. Other nominees on this album include Demi Lovato, Twenty One Pilots, Lukas Graham, Kelly Clarkson and The Chainsmokers.
