YOUNGER DRIVER INSURANCE
I am writing in with something I have found being a younger driver under the age of 25.
I have been on interstate now for almost two years running Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Brisbane, but it was not until recently that the company I am working for wanted to send me to Perth.
For me to have the ability to do this, the company had to apply for the next level of insurance for the eligibility to be able to go across the paddock.
Sadly, the application was denied because of my age.
But still today, I am wondering how I am able to do up to 5000 to 6000 kilometres a week, running all hours of the day and night on the east coast, but as soon as it comes to running across to Perth they rejected the application.
I am yet to find out what the difference is in running the 5000km to Western Australia to running 5000km up and down the east coast.
The hardest part these days is not about getting a job, it’s about getting insurance to cover you. Daryl Payne Penrith, NSW
