How to... Make a flo­ral trio card

Cel­e­brate a birthday in style with this dainty de­sign

Papercraft Inspirations - - HEAT EMBOSSING -

1 Us­ing wa­ter­colour card, make a 14.5cm card blank and a 14cm panel. Cre­ate a back­ground on the panel with a wet paint­brush and blue shades 61 and 66 and green shade 50.

2 Al­low the panel to dry thor­oughly. Us­ing the sprig of leaves, stamp and em­boss the bot­tom right cor­ner of the panel us­ing Ver­samark ink and white em­boss­ing pow­der.

3 Us­ing the other sprig in the Flori­bunda set, stamp and em­boss a few sprigs into the top left cor­ner of the panel us­ing Ver­samark ink and white em­boss­ing pow­der.

4 Us­ing a fine paint­brush and shade 50, paint into and around the leaves in the bot­tom right cor­ner. Then use an­other green, shade 51, to paint around the sprigs in the top left cor­ner.

5 Stamp and em­boss two large flow­ers, one small flower, three large leaves and two small leaves with Ver­samark and white em­boss­ing pow­der. Stamp the sen­ti­ment us­ing black ink and trim.

6 Paint the flow­ers and leaves us­ing 40, 33 and 31 for the orange flower, 42, 37 and 61 for the pink flower, 42, 64 and 38 for the blue flower and 51 and 52 for the leaves. Cut out with scis­sors.

7 Stamp and em­boss a few tiny flower heads in the blank ar­eas us­ing Ver­samark and Kalei­do­scope em­boss­ing pow­der. At­tach the panel to the card, then add the el­e­ments. Fin­ish with gems.
