How to... Make a shaped card
Take your designs to the next level by die-cutting an intricately shaped card blank and panel
1 Using watercolour card, make a shaped top-fold blank with the largest die and a shaped panel using the second largest.
2 Create a background on the shaped panel using blue and green paint. Allow to dry, then stamp and emboss the sprig using Versamark and white embossing powder, as shown.
3 Stamp and emboss a large flower, two small flowers and some large and small leaves on watercolour card using Versamark and white embossing powder. Stamp the sentiment with black ink and cut out.
4 Paint the embossed flowers and leaves. Cut out with scissors when dry. Paint around the embossed sprigs on the panel using light green paint and a fine paintbrush.
5 Sprinkle the panel with embossing enamel, then heat. Mount on the card and add the elements. Finish with gems.
