Q I love to make card projects that sparkle, whatever the season – my Hoover is always full of glitter after one of my crafting sessions! Do you have any stylish ideas for projects that use lots of loose glitter or glitter glue? Hanna Paisley, Northampton A We’re totally with you, Hanna! We love glitter too. We heard recently that WOW! (makers of embossing powders) is launching its own range of glitter, called Sparkles, this January. This gorgeous glitter card was made by Tanya at WOW! and uses glitter as the main event, rather than just accents. Start by covering a 14cm square of card with a double-sided adhesive sheet. Die cut the first 18 letters of the alphabet from the panel, arranging the letters as shown. Peel off the backing to reveal the sticky side and cover with WOW! Sparkles Premium Glitter. Tap off the excess and return to the pot. Back H and I with red card then mount the panel onto a 15cm card using sticky foam pads. Of course, you can use any letter combination to spell out your desired message.

WOW! Sparkles comes in a range of colours including Ballet Shoes (pink) and Celebrations (gold), shown above.

See page 76 for stockists Glitter never goes out of style – use it everywhere!
