How to make the happy birthday card

Cut out a 14x9.5cm piece of colour­ful dolls pa­per and a 14x9.5cm piece of blue dolls pa­per. Use dou­ble-sided tape to stick them to­gether, neatly lin­ing up the edges.

Mea­sure 9.5cm down from the top edge and cut a 6cm slit in from the right. Fold the pa­per back on it­self at the cut, as shown, and use sticky foam pads to se­cure.

Layer the pa­per panel onto a blue base card, sand­wich­ing in the or­ange ‘happy birthday’ greet­ing. As­sem­ble a doll top­per and at­tach to the card with sticky foam pads, to fin­ish.
