How to... Craft a top-class card
A corgi and ginger tom take centre stage in this cute card
Print and cut a piece of lawn paper, measuring 12.5x12.5cm, and use double-sided sticky tape to layer it onto purple card, leaving a small border all the way around the edge. Print and cut out the fountain, leaving a small white border around the edge. Use sticky foam pads to attach it to the card panel, positioning it 0.5cm up from the bottom of the printed panel. Print and cut out two flowerpots and two topiary trees. Use tape to stick one tree and one plant either side of the fountain – use sticky foam pads to stick down the others, to add depth. Print and cut out the tables and chairs. Attach to the card, on top of the fountain, using sticky foam pads. You are starting to build your English country garden scene... Cut out the dog and cat, add sticky foam pads to the back of the figures, then place them on the chairs, as shown. Use small craft scissors to cut neatly around the detail. Cut out the ‘top class mum’ sentiment, leaving a white border all the way around the edge, then attach to the top centre of the card, using sticky foam pads.
Attach the whole card panel to a square white card blank, using sticky foam pads. Use craft tweezers to neatly position six adhesive pearls to the corners, as shown, to finish.
