Try mini peg stamping – it’s so much fun!

Papercraft Inspirations - - Contents -

Peg stamping is all about using mini stamps in a totally different way to anything you might have done before. It uses a variety of tiny stamps to build up detailed designs or pictures, layering the images one by one to create a beautiful tapestry of colour and texture.

Some brands of stamp are pre-mounted on wooden cylinders or ‘pegs’, while the Majestix ones that Kat Waskett has used in this project are clear stamps that can be mounted onto acrylic pegs, or you can use any small acrylic blocks instead.

It’s an incredibly fun technique and the stamps, which you buy in sets, are great to collect and mix and match in future projects.

The results are fabulous and the random nature of this stamping style means it’s quick and easy, and you will never get two designs exactly the same!
