This clever project features a quick and simple way of adding extra interest to your inked backgrounds

1

Blend Broken China, Faded Jeans, Dusty Concord and Tumbled Glass ink onto a 9.5x13.5cm piece of white card. Lay a strip of sequin waste onto the ink then use a wet sponge to lift the ink. Dry with a heat tool.

2

Once dry, white heat emboss the swirl from the Star of Light set onto the panel and flick watered-down white paint across it.

3

Mount the panel onto a 10x14cm piece of white card then use sticky foam pads to add it onto a 10.5x14.5cm purple card blank. Add faux stitching with a white gel pen.

4

Use Cotton White StazOn ink to stamp the Star of Light ornate star onto acetate. Once dry, cut out the star then use sticky foam pads to attach it onto the card front.

5

Stamp the star again and silver heat emboss the centre. Cut out the centre, colour with watered-down Distress Ink then mount it onto the star on the card front.
