Rova Flying Selfie Drone ......................................

PC & Tech Authority - - CONTENTS - Bob Fenton

$399 •ing

I was excited to review this very niche and di¡erent product, presumably aimed at narcissists or people with too much money and who doesn’t know what a tripod is. Calling it a drone is generous, the flight controls are very dižcult to operate with any precision, and are fundamentally broken as it simply won’t fly higher than about two meters.

The app is brown and poorly explained, it took six or seven times restarting, reinstalling, reconnecting through the Rova application to actually get to the take-o¡ stage, which takes the fun out of what should be something cool.

Due to the whole unit weighing next to nothing, forget about using it outdoors if a light breeze is present. This is a severe limitation. It’s also $400, which is puzzling.
