P owerbricks packing a large charge aren’t unusual, but for a 20,000mAh device to be as small as the ChargeUp certainly is notable. It comes in at 136 x 71 x 28mm, which is about half the size of a typical 10,000 mAh powerpack. So, yes – twice the charge, half the size. That’s nice. It isn’t light, weighing in at 380g, but that’s to be expected.

Its power to size ežciency comes via the use of lithium polymer batteries. 20,000 mAh is mighty useful for extended trips away from civilization or convenient charging points. That capacity represents about six full recharges for a current smartphone, and at least one full recharge for most laptops.

Two USB ports allow 2.4 Amp simultaneous charging, or single port charging at 4.8 Amps.
