What happens when you drop AMD’s latest and fastest CPU into a PC? Something that performs just a few percentage points behind Intel’s best in games, but dominates Intel as soon as anything productivity related or heavily multithreaded comes along. Making the “Gaming Workstation” name for this system very apt indeed.

The 16GB of RAM is listed as 2400MHz, which given Ryzen 2’s new support for 2933MHz is a disappointment, especially when Ryzen absolutely laps up all the memory speed you can feed it.

Apart from that minor flaw, the rest of the system is a pretty good offering. The GTX 1070 Ti is a nice sweet spot unit that is so fast it is essentially a GTX 1080!
