Corsair Strafe Mk.2

PC & Tech Authority - - CONTENTS - BOB FENTON

$219 • www.cor • Score: 4/5

Corsair has a great number of keyboard offerings, from the mid-range all the way up to the mighty K95 Platinum. The Strafe sits somewhere in the middle and this revamped version adds a few features which improve on the original design. The most apparent of these updates are the smooth volume roller, the backlit logo and the raised media keys.

This keyboard is available with Cherry MX Red or Silent key switches. The version we tested featured the Silent switches, these feel very similar to the Red switches which is a good thing, they have the same actuation force (45g), but are quieter and will serve you well for both gaming and general office situations.

The build quality feels up to scratch, it is housed in a plastic body but there is no apparent ‘flex’ and the aluminium top plate gives it a bit of a premium look and feel. Corsair has once again made a very good keyboard that is priced accordingly and is a joy to use.
